PEG History

Rev. Prince E. Graves

About Prince Edward Graves Homes

The PEG development began in 1980 by its predecessor, Reverend Prince Edward Graves. Rev. Graves served as Pastor of Saint James Baptist Church. His vision was to provide affordable homes for elderly and handicapped citizens within the community. He wanted them to be able to live in comfort and convenience.

His wife, Mrs. Dolly Graves, managed PEG from 1986 until 2002, continuing the legacy of compassionate, community-centered housing that her husband had established.

Today, Prince Edward Graves Homes continues to honor that founding vision — offering dignified, affordable apartment living for seniors 62 and older and individuals with mobility needs in Greensboro, North Carolina.
